As a specialised company, Isolatie Combinatie (IC) provides solutions for all forms of industrial insulation. The systems are customised and are fully tailored to your process. Well-executed industrial insulation not only protects your staff but also generates substantial energy savings and reductions in CO2 emissions.
An experienced partner
Since 1977 IC engineers deliver and install fire protection, thermal and acoustic insulation solutions for many different industries both onshore and offshore. Our goal is to increase the reliability and safety in the industry and, where possible, ensure energy savings.
In house production – great flexibility
With its own design and production department IC can quickly respond to the industrial insulation demands of customers and in cooperation with the customer provide a 100% matching solution. The production facility for prefabrication of sheet metal insulation systems and cladding parts covers an area over 1200 m2 and is strategically situated right next to the A9 in Beverwijk. The location features computerised machinery and large crane systems which enable an easy transport preparation of all parts. In addition, IC has a facility for the production of insulation mattresses and light weight insulation systems which are also made to customer specifications by qualified staff.

Design and Engineering – creating savings and reducing lead times
In an ideal situation IC will already be involved in the development of insulation systems during engineering phase of a project. In this way our customers can benefit the most from our know-how, our practical input and problem solving attitude. Sometimes small adaptions in the design can lead to major reductions in costs and lead times. Often we hear that our approach, as a true partner, has brought the project to a higher level, a level from which the customer benefits both in savings and long lasting efficiency improvements.
Thermal calculations – determining the return in advance
Where desired IC can help customers in advance with any calculations, regarding e.g. heat loss, surface temperature and savings models (both environmental and financial). Often, the payback period of an insulation system is less than one year, but IC can calculate this for your specific situation. For our Dutch customers we can also assist with calculations for EIA (Energie Investerings Aftrek) subsidy. All components are, where applicable, supplied with relevant certificates, theoretical calculations and test reports.
Logistics solutions – matching your needs
Many industries are working with tight schedules or fixed maintenance cycles. The installation of fire, acoustic or thermal insulation not only requires good preparation from the production side but also requires often a structured approach and precise logistical planning. Through a high degree of flexibility, we are able to match customers needs in manpower and material with the existing schedules at the location.
