Hydrogen Refuelling Station Tiel

This project is one of many hydrogen refuelling stations in the Netherlands and Europe where Isolatie Combinatie has carried out cryogenic insulation work in recent years.

The work involved insulating the hydrogen pipework between the storage tank or process installation and the dispenser. Because of the extreme temperatures and the specific requirements of hydrogen applications, high-grade cryogenic insulation materials were selected in close consultation with the client.

For this application, Isolatie Combinatie developed a bespoke solution in which the insulation was applied according to a non-standard design. This delivers optimum thermal performance and safeguards the reliability of the system under the most demanding conditions.
